Vilniaus kogeneracinė jėgainė is the only power plant in Lithuania that has both, biofuel and waste, boilers for heat and electricity production. It can supply heat to almost half of Vilnius and utilizes the residual waste coming from Vilnius and Utena counties.

Mantas Burokas has been a General Manager of Vilniaus Kogeneracinė Jėgainė since 24 February 2021.
Mantas Burokas is also a member of the Management Board of PE “Plačiajuostis internetas” and a member of the Supervisory Board of AB “Panevėžio energija”.
Mr Burokas has more than ten years of experience in the energy sector, and he also held management positions during seven of those years.
Mantas received a master's degree in Law from Mykolas Romeris University. He has also completed the training of a professional board member at the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance. He completed finance and management accounting modules at ISM University of Management and Economics.
Mantas Mikalajūnas has been a Member of the Management Board of Vilniaus Kogeneracinė Jėgainė since 31 March 2022.
Mantas is also a Member of the Management Board of AB “Ignitis grupe”, UAB “Ignitis” and UAB Elektroninių mokėjimų agentūra, the Head of Group Regulated Activities at AB “Ignitis grupė”.
Mantas is an executive with almost 20 years of experience in various energy sector companies. Mantas launched his career in Lietuvos Dujos, later he had an internship in German energy group of companies. After returning to Lithuania, he was working in strategic positions at Lietuvos Dujos, where he served as an executive team member and was responsible with investor relations, state authorities and the regulator as well as integration of Lietuvos Dujos into Lietuvos Energija (now Ignitis Group). Before transitioning to the position of Head of Business Development at Ignitis Group, Mantas served as a CEO at Lietuvos Dujų Tiekimas (later Lietuvos Energijos Tiekimas).
Mantas earned master’s degree in Business Administration and Management at Vilnius University.
Head of Business Development Green Hydrogen at thyssenkrupp nucera
Paul K. Dainora has been a Member of the Management Board of Vilniaus Kogeneracinė Jėgainė since 21 June 2019.
He is currently the Head of Business Development Green Hydrogen at thyssenkrupp nucera and is based in Dortmund, Germany. He is also a Member of the Management Board of UAB "Vilkaviškio šilumos tinklai", a member of the "Global Lithuanian Leaders" as well as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Paul K. Dainora has more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector. He began his professional career in the United States of America in 1986 at Bechtel Power Corporation, where he worked as a Resident Engineer. He later continued his career with Target Technology Ltd. as Senior Project Engineer, was the President of Accupipe Corporation, a Project Engineer at Messer Advanced Gas Systems, a Project Manager at Matheson Tri-Gas, and later a Project Manager at Dresser-Rand Company.
In 2006, he returned to Canada as a Project Development Manager at Dresser-Rand Canada, Inc. In 2008, Paul K. Dainora moved to Germany and continued his professional career at EagleBurgmann Germany as Director of Project Sales – Europe and then at Linde AG – Engineering Division as Director of Business Development Petrochemicals, with both positions near Munich. Later Mr. Dainora moved to Frankfurt where he began working as the Director of Sales and Business Development, Europe for Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions Germany and then as Vice President, Business Development EMEA at Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company (AG&P).
Mr Dainora holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering which he acquired from the Villanova University in the USA and has an MBA degree in Economics and Finance which he acquired from the West Chester University, also in the USA.
Jonas Rimavičius is a Member of the Management Board of AB „Ignitis grupė“ and UAB „Ignitis renewables“ and the Head of Group Finance and Investment at AB „Ignitis grupė“
Jonas Rimavičius is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He joined the Group in 2016 and has been a member of the Management Board of Ignitis Renewables since January 2019. He is also a Member of the Management Board of UAB “NT valdos”.
Prior to joining the Group, Jonas Rimavičius worked as a Senior Analyst at Swedbank, was a Financial Business Partner at the telecommunications company Telia and a consultant at the audit and consulting company Ernst & Young Baltic.
Mr Rimavičius holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Cambridge.
