A smart energy solutions company Ignitis, owned by an international energy company Ignitis Group, has announced that it is recruiting for a position of a general manager of Ignitis Suomi OY, a subsidiary company to be established in Finland. The candidates for the position are welcome to apply until 20 April 2021 inclusive.
Ignitis is supplying natural gas to Finnish business customers since 1 January 2020. Ignitis sees a potential of significant growth in the rapidly growing Finnish market, therefore, it decided in February 2021 to initiate preparatory works for establishing a subsidiary company in Finland.

The establishment of a subsidiary in this country will ensure a more effective, simpler and faster operations of Ignitis as well as strengthen development opportunities. Development of effective operation of the newly established company and putting together a team that implements strategic objectives will be one of the most important tasks for its manager”, said Haroldas Nausėda, Member of the Management Board and Director for B2B Clients and Expansion at Ignitis.
Among the requirements set out for the General Manager of Ignitis Suomi, there is a requirement of at least five years of management experience in a company conducting wholesale and retail trading of energy resources as well as good understanding of Finnish energy sector.
