Kristaps Muzikants has been the CEO and a Member of the Management Board of Ignitis Latvia since 24 October 2019.
Kristaps has many years of experience in IT and insurance companies. Prior to joining the energy sector, he worked in the field of B2B sales, took care of budget management, and acquired experience in risk management.
He graduated from Riga International University of Economics and Business with a bachelor's degree in Business and a master's degree in Business. He holds a master's degree in IT Business from Riga University of Technology.

Artūras Bortkevičius is a Management Board Chair and CEO at Ignitis.
In recent years, Artūras Bortkevičius has held the position of Chief Financial Officer of the international pharmaceutical company Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in the Baltic States. He also worked as a financial expert for the consulting company Frauditoriai and was the Financial Director of the Danish Royal Unibrew group company Ceres S.P.A. He also gained experience in Kalnapilis-Tauras Group and Sicor Biotech.
Andrius Kavaliauskas has been a Member of the Supervisory Board since 8 June 2022. He is also Member of the Management Board and Chief Private Customers Officer at Ignitis since 3 December 2018.
Andrius Kavaliauskas joined the Lietuvos Energija group in 2018 and became the Director of the Private Customers and Service Development Department of Lietuvos Energijos Tiekimas. Until then, he worked for Franmax and has extensive experience in the field of telecommunications (he worked at Telia Lietuva, Omnitel, Teo and also in the financial sector – he worked for the investment and private banking group Finasta for almost seven years).
Andrius Kavaliauskas holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and a master's degree in International Business which he acquired at Vilnius University. He later deepened his knowledge at the Swedish KTH Royal Institute of Technology's IT/IP business development programme. He also finished his master's degree studies of International Business Management at the Baltic Management Institute and acquired the education of the member of the management board at the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance.
Darius Šimkus has been a Member of the Supervisory Board since 8 June 2022.
Darius Šimkus began his career in the energy sector in 2018 after joining Energijos Tiekimas as Risk Management team lead. After the company was merged into Lietuvos Energijos Tiekimas, he became the Head of Risk Management and Compliance. Previous experience in the financial sector was built while working for Deloitte and Swedbank.
